( Completed Project )
In collaboration with Al Orman Association – Egypt
The most rational development projects move towards providing practical solutions that address the problems by eliminating their causes and transferring these categories to productive work that provides them with financial resources to meet their needs or a proportion thereof.
Stemming from the above philosophy, Nohoudh Endowment participated in caring for the neediest families in the villages of Egypt, in collaboration with one of the leading charity associations in this field in Egypt (Dar Al Orman Association).
In the context of this partnership, Nohoudh Endowment aspires to provide developmental, productive and unconventional services that target, over a specific timeframe, to move a portion of the needy segments from the circle of need to the circle of production and sufficiency, by moving with o the concept of volunteer charity work from a complimentary role that satisfies the instinct of giving to a developmental institutional work regulated professionally and achieve its objectives based on the confidence of the donors, the seriousness of the recipients and the experience and efficiency of those who support it.
Nohoudh Endowment directs the support to selected categories through the preparation of a feasibility study (with the appropriate level for the size of the project), the vocational training and rehabilitation (including training on project management), the provision of services, equipment and raw materials needed for production and assisting in marketing the products.
Nohoudh Endowment aims, at the short term, to help the neediest categories in an Egyptian village in creating and managing their own productive projects with the aim of moving these segments from the circle of need to the circle of production and sufficiency circle as much as possible, in addition to aiming, at the short term, to expand the framework of implementation in light of the results and lessons of application, to include new villages in different environments, especially in Upper Egypt and border areas.
